Protesting against Israel's bombartment of Palestine.
This military action by Israel has taken the lives of more than 400 innocent Palestinians. The pictures here are from the first protest in Ann Arbor Michigan, which was held at the Federal building in Ann Arbor Downtown on Tuesday, 30 2008.
Another protest was held on Friday 2, 2009 as the Israeli forces kept bombarding Palestine. Other protests were held in Detroit and Dearborn in Michigan, and across the United States along with thousands of protests around the globe against the massacre by Israeli forces.
Israel should stop the massacre and let Palestinians have their own government by their own elections. Israel should lift the Economic and Social boycott of Palestinians, demolish present Berlin Wall in Gaza (Gaza Wall), remove Zionist colonies from Palestine, and recognize Palestine as an independent state. Only then can Peace is possible.
The inhuman treatment of Palestinians and then signing of Peace treaties is nothing but furthering the conflict which has already taken thousands of innocent lives on both sides of the conflict- Muslims, Christians and Jews. US should stop funding Israel, and should pressure Israeli government to end the Aparthied. US government should do it for the sake of America for we should not allow any regime to use our American made weapons for the destruction and genocide.
Everyone who feels that it is wrong, should protest these atrocities non-violently. Everyone, who cares about humanity should write to their Representatives and Senators to denounce Israel. Media should be contacted to have a fair coverage of the news. Show the world the we still have some humanity left within ourselves and that some how one Israeli's life is not superior to Arabs- Muslims and Christians.
